Backtagging: Yes! I prefer and welcome open OOC dialogue to keep tabs on current events but will backtag unto eternity.

Fourthwalling: It is fine if it makes sense to, but don't expect a lot of drama about it ICly. Prefer if you talk to me first if it's going to happen!

Offensive subjects (elaborate): Anything related to child molestation is Not A Joke. How my character(s) reacts and relates to a situation is not a reflection of my OOC personal feelings or opinions. Don't treat it as such. If I forgot to tag a warning it is because I forgot. Please point it out so I can edit in the correction.

Hugging this character: I'm sure there will be reasons. But do not expect a great reaction or any enjoyment from him.

Kissing this character: Pretty much the same as above.

Flirting with this character: Haha ha ha ha good luck. (Warning: Not likely to reciprocate. Ever.)

Fighting with this character: Certainly.

Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Yes. Limits and severity can be discussed. I'm not a major fan of the mental deviant power trip gore but I do like some drama. Also because of the character in question, a good dramatic injury may need a bit of discussion to arrange.

Killing this character: We can talk. Lots of people would have good reason to see Elidibus dead regardless of what his plans are on the train. But I like to discuss serious attempts at murder first. Plot deaths may unfold naturally though.

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Sure! But this will likely need discussion due to the nature of the character. It is also a near certainty that he Will Know What You Did[tm].

Aethersight

Elidibus, like all Ascians, is capable of seeing the aether of the world around him, including magic, objects and living things. People tend to have unique aetherical signatures, often in the form of one or two colors, that are often unmistakable for another person. This FFXIV Job Quest is an example of an aetherical signature.

Those with VERY STRONG elemental leanings, tend to have a color associated with that element. A person with an affinity for fire might have a crimson color. While a robot running on electricity might have a strong purple for lightning aspect.

Earth: yellow/gold
Fire: shades of red
Lightning: purples
Water: Deeper Blues
Ice: Lighter Blues
Wind: Greens
"Light": white - Light's element is not 'goodness', it is stasis and passivity.
"Darkness": black - Darkness' element is not 'evil', it is activity and growth.


Elidibus will know the difference between a color of a strong elemental leaning and what is just the color of the aether signature. Questions and more in-depth discussion are always welcome!

Sort of. Touma has managed to notice someone 'invisible' before. It would most likely manifest as a feeling that 'something' is there.

After thinking everything over carefully, Kamijou headed toward a large sandwich shop.

But suddenly he got the feeling he had overlooked something he could not afford to overlook.

“…”

Kamijou came to a stop. The restless atmosphere characteristic of Ichihanaransai preparations surrounded him just as before. Even if it was a peculiar or even “strange” atmosphere, it was still a good one. However, there was something large enough to blow that atmosphere away. Kamijou was convinced of it.

The problem was…

That something did not radiate killing intent like a drawn Japanese sword. It was completely blended in and perfectly adapted. That was why everyone overlooked it. Even though this large something was incredibly dangerous and carelessly approaching it would lead to certain doom.

The Hawaiian Islands. Baggage City.

Gremlin.

The darkness of the darkness that had spread to the very depths of the world.

There was something there that was just as, if not more, concentrated than that. Having sensed that threat, Kamijou remained still and slowly looked around in all 360 degrees. He carefully observed his surroundings. When he did, he finally realized the source of the feeling.

It was only 30 meters away.

This something that would have been enough to make him sweat uncomfortably from the other side of the planet was leaning on one of the trees lining the walking path and watching him.

However, this was not Gremlin.

But this person may have been even more bizarre than them in a certain way.

It was Ollerus.

It was the man who “should have become a Magic God” that Kamijou had met in Baggage City.

“Hey,” said the man in a slight greeting as he removed his back from the tree and walked toward Kamijou. “Fiamma of the Right and I were discussing when you would notice me. It looks like I might owe him dinner. …But at least you weren’t so dull you didn’t notice me until the very end.”

I think Touma's awareness of Elidibus in aetherial being state might be possible. It is probably better to think of him like a soul++ hanging around than a undead ghost or a figment of imagination. See: ridiculously longwinded exposition here.

Whether he can see or sense I'll leave up to you. Most of the time, it is not invisibility as much as it is the ability to perceive the presence, so!
