Elidibus has met his fair share of civilizations and cultures (more than a fair share if we're to be honest) and it's no different here. Case in point he doesn't appear to be offended that Tim doesn't parrot his name back and smoothly meets the handshake with a firm grasp of his own. Very solid, not challenging nor is it 'gentle in light of someone's infirm condition'.
Also calm down Tim. Not everything is a politically correct statement. At least in the personal bubble that exists as part Elidibus's personal space. He seems to be very patient.

Look at how convenient that is. Also Elidibus would probably be interested to know whether Inner Tim is talking about him or ...Tim? Outer Tim? Well either way it's a pity he can't hear it.
